The Hamilton County Democratic Party always needs community volunteers and support to grow and thrive. All volunteer activities can be adapted to your specific availability and comfort level from office work, to writing letters, to help organizing fundraisers, there are lots of ways to be involved. To connect with the community team in your neighborhood please see our volunteer sign up page.
The Hamilton County Democratic Party has developed a system of community teams to support the HCDP, it's candidates and activities. The community teams are broken up by ward (essentially by neighborhood) and each have a team leader that acts as a point person for the volunteers in the area. This helps to streamline communication, focus volunteer efforts and ensure that every volunteer's time is respected and appreciated.
For more volunteering information or if you have any questions please feel free to call our office at 513-421-0495.
Run for Office
We need great Democrats stand up and run for office in 2017 and 2018 to fight the Trump Agenda. From the US Congress to City Council, you can help spread Democratic policies by running for office.
Get Involved in a Local Democratic Club
The Hamilton County Democratic Party has a number of local Ward Clubs throughout Hamilton County. These clubs meet regularly to discuss Democratic Issues, plan events and support the efforts of the Democratic Party.
Become a Precinct Executive
One of the best ways to get involved is through your local Ward Club or by becoming a Precinct Executive. Precinct Executives are the local eyes, ears, and voice of the Democratic Party at the neighborhood level. There is no better way to win votes than talking to people face to face, one on one.
To learn more about being a Precinct Executive, you can read about the Precinct Executive Duties.
To find out more about the Ward Club in your neighborhood, please call our office at 421-0495 or contact us.
Donate Equipment and Supplies
In order to run a more effective office we need various new and gently used items donated, (computer equipment especially). If you have and can spare any office or supply items, please consider donating them.
The Hamilton County Democrats are always looking for bright young Democrats to intern at Headquarters. An internship with the Hamilton County Democrats is a great opportunity to learn the ropes and possibly even earn college credit. For information about interning with the HCDP, call the office at (513) 421-0495.
